Save Timmy's Snowman!

Concept for Gebr. Heinemann

Passengers write their Christmas wishes on notes and stick them on a projected wall, creating a fortress that shields Timmy and his snowman from the Coal Monster. Every wish is a buying signal, showing concessions what travellers want to buy for themselves and to give.

Film: a winter village scene is projected on a wall. A person sticks pink notes in a row across it, and Timmy finishes his snowman behind the wall of notes.

How it works

A Christmas scene is projected onto a wall in the shop. The Coal Monster keeps throwing coal at Timmy while he builds his snowman. Passengers protect him with their Christmas wishes.

  1. Write a wish

Passengers write a Christmas wish on a sticky note: something they'd love for themselves, or a gift for someone else.

The value: every wish is a buying signal. It tells you what travellers want to buy and to give.

  2. Stick it on the wall

The note becomes part of the game: projected coal bounces off it, and Timmy is shielded where it sits.

The value: a game played in front of your shop, drawing people to stop, play and watch.

  3. Save Timmy

The more wishes go up, the stronger the fortress grows, until Timmy can finish his snowman. The game never ends, so every passenger who passes can join in.

The value: by the end of the day the wall is a list of wishes, guiding product selection, gift displays and brand-partner campaigns.
